Philosophy of life is almost related to the principle of life. all people who still exist have a handle on life, life goals, the principle of living and life philosophy. Surely this is quite different among each other in react. Because, It is not the same person, each person is unique, each person is individualism that distinguishes beings with one another.

Anyone have a purpose in life is so strong, but weak principle of his life, or conversely there are people who have purpose in life is weak, but has a strong life principles. this not be an issue, which is important how well someone to connect her life with various world problems that there, or by word how psychological conditions effecting someone in his life.

The principle of life is still much to do with psychology, but psychology want to know want to deal directly with the principle of life. Because, with menijau principle of one’s life can be known the condition of one’s soul. The principle of life and philosophy of life is very broad scope, not only in terms of psychology, but the whole branch of science that exists. The principle of one’s life can taken from the perspective of psychology, religion, art, literature, metaphysics, philosophy and so on.

For some people, life philosophy can be used as life role models, so that one can live well and correctly. There is also in part of people who ignored what was the purpose of life and philosophy of life, he just walked in the current flowing and some more, too strong to hold life’s purpose and philosophy his life that made him hard and loud, So, conclusion there are three human nature that can be viewed from philosophy his life, namely a weak person, a neutral person and the person who hard.

Basically, the purpose and principles of one’s life is good and net. When a person in a state of calm, he makes various objectives and principles in life, but when applied some of the constraints arising from the external or the influence of external environment. One of the biggest influences from outside he is the five senses. Five senses are not awake to the will either make one slip of the purposes and principles his life. The ear can hear, the eye can see, the mouth can speak. All that must be controlled properly.

Weather you psychology or not, you should have one purpose in life or philosophy of life that can develop, and someone who studied philosophy and not, should consider whether and how that philosophy can be applied properly and correctly so as to have psychological / mental health to progress and succeed.

What is the appeal of past charms? Classic literature, silent films and old Hollywood, typewriters and Polaroid cameras, Art Nouveau and Pre-Raphaelite art, Romanticism, nostalgia, Victorian decor and ephemera seem to hold an increasing allure.

Modern culture is marked by blatancy and accessibility. The Internet in particular poses new problems in terms of allowing instantaneous access to information accumulated from every country and every era. This means an individual is able to sift through art, culture and knowledge as if through clothes on a rack, selecting and discarding as one pleases. Surely this inevitably entails a process of devaluation.

Arguably, as a consequence, the sanctity is eroded. Life experience itself is devalued and distorted by its artificial equivalent. Often the artificial comes before the real, which imposes distorted expectations.

Media consumption is prying further and further into the sacred or taboo in order to give viewers the shock they now crave, whether that be in horror, pornography, live surgery or alarming tales of abuse and rape in women’s magazines. Many teenagers and young adults have become jaded cynics, addicted to rapid visual stimulation. Children wear skimpy outfits with glittery playboy logos whilst their parents fret about paedophilia.

Critical theory is a branch of philosophy and sociology that examines and critiques modern society. Adorno and Horkheimer’s ‘Dialectic of Enlightenment’ is a renowned critique in which they voice their concern for modern culture (or ‘the culture industry’) and the dehumanisation of man in industrial society.

According to Adorno and Horkheimer (2002) culture does not arise from the genuine demands of the people, but rather it instils false needs. The culture industry essentially makes an industry out of the available cultures. In other words, it pillages aspects from art, film, music and history on the basis of what is sellable and transforms them in to fast trends and easy entertainment. Adverts and remixes are prime examples of this.

The culture industry thus devalues and dilutes the deeper meaning of the art by taking it out of context, repeating it and associating it with products or amusements. A further instance is editing of classic literature to condense it to a third of the length in order to make the books easily digested.

Any analysis of modern culture indicates the worrying consequences of assembly line production, commodity fetishism and standardization. All meaning and individuals are reduced to equivalence, and most social interaction takes place on the level of selling and purchasing. Is this why people are seeking refuge in the past where purpose and idealism prevail?

Do individuals find a place for themselves in a past era because it offers them a framework of meaning? Whilst there is a benefit to the mass of information and entertainment at our fingertips, the culture created is superficial and diluted as if it picks from the surface of the vast feast of meaning that now lies before us.

Popular entertainment seems to be guided by cheap thrills, repetitive plots and gore porn and does not promote experimentation or critical thinking. Perhaps as a consequence, many are unfulfilled and turn to past charms in order to acquaint themselves with taboo, mystery, naivety, idealism – all these things are exposed and sucked dry by the culture industry.

From the Lord of the Rings to Harry Potter and the Stars Wars trilogy, modern fairy tales highlight virtue, courage, leadership, and personal sacrifice.

Good and evil, the triumph of virtue over sloth, and the ability of an underdog – usually someone young and untested – all represent the characteristics of fairy tales and legends since ancient times. Whether it was Odysseus returning home in Homer’s epic or Robin Hood and his courageous band of merry men in Sherwood Forest, stories of great bravery and even audacity in the face of evil stir the imagination and promote a temporary escape from the daily realities of living in a complex society. The modern world is no different from the past as we anoint new heroes and heroines.

If one object of fairy tales is to describe a particular moral, an action of goodness achieved through courage, then a number of writers have accomplished the task admirably. J. R. R. Tolkien’s world of Hobbits and elves is one example of a quest to save a civilization against the onslaught of the powers of darkness. Much like J. K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series, the victory of evil and chaos is thwarted by supreme courage, sacrifice, the innocence of youth, and a helpful dose of magic. These are all attributes an audience admires and secretly wishes to personally experience.

In the Chronicles of Narnia C.S. Lewis uses children to defeat the White Witch and reestablish peace in the mythical land. It is a peace and tranquility that brings together all creatures. It is nothing short of a cosmic reordering and perhaps for this reason scholars see elements of Christology in the writings. Although such blatant symbolism is missing from the Disney interpretations, the notion of good versus evil is fully evident.

When the first Star Wars movie premiered in 1977, the audience was ready for a galactic fantasy and many viewers watched the film dozens of times. Luke Skywalker and friends, assisted by Obi Wan Kenobi, rescue a princess and defeat an Empire that has turned to the “dark side of the force.” The Obi Wan character is much like Gandalf or Dumbledore. Ultimately, it is good magic that defeats evil magic.

Referring to the George Lucas film, Sheldon Cashdan writes that, “Lucas draws on mythic themes to come up with a complex coming-of-age fairy tale that centers on timeless issues of loyalty, honor, and bravey.” [1] But the element that drew millions to see the movie multiple times may well have been the ability to escape into an experience where it was possible for good to triumph. In 1977, the Vietnam War was still a potent memory and the nation had lost respect and a sense of internal security with political institutions following Watergate.

When trying to choose which nursing school to attend it can be confusing. This is because there are so many to choose from. Here are five of the most popular nursing schools in the country.

University of California San Francisco School of Nursing (UCSF)

In the last five years alone, the University of California San Francisco has tripled their funding for research, gained additional scholarship support from the student body, and consistently increased enrollment in the nursing program. UCSF School of Nursing was ranked #2 among all US Schools of Nursing in the National Institutes of Health research funding for 2009, and has ranked #1 in 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006.

University of Washington School of Nursing

This school has been ranked #1 in US school, and has consistently been in the top of the US News and World Report list. This is because of the award-winning research, and innovative curriculum used at the school.

The School of Nursing at UNC, Chapel Hill (University of North Carolina)

This school is recognized nationally as one of the premiere nursing schools in the entire country. The School offers a full complement of nursing education programs, as well as the first PhD program in North Carolina. This school has been a leader in nursing education as the first in the state to offer a four-year baccalaureate nursing degree, the first to offer a nursing master’s degree, the first to initiate continuing education for nurses, the first to offer a nurse practitioner program, and the first school in North Carolina to offer a Ph.D. in nursing. The school has also had its graduate programs in the top 10 according to U.S. News and World Report.

University of Illinois at Chicago School of Nursing

This is another popular school that offers an array of study programs including a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, including RN/BSN option for registered professional nurses with an associate degree, a Master of Science that encompasses Nurse Practitioner Options such as acute care, adult, family, mental health, and occupational health. There are also many options for Clinical Nurse Specialist, Health Systems Leadership, Nurse midwifery, Doctor of Nursing Practice, and Doctor of Philosophy. Certificates include Administrative Nursing Leadership, Advanced Practice Cardio metabolic Nursing, Advanced Practice Forensic Nursing, Advanced Practice Palliative Care Nursing, CNS and NP/Midwifery Post-master’s Certificate, School Nurse and Teaching/Learning in Nursing and Health Sciences.

UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA

This school may be so popular due to their state-of-the-art simulation lab that includes mannequins that respond to their simulated care just as a real live patient would. The classrooms also have the latest hospital-based electronic medical records capabilities. Of course, it’s only a guess. It could also be that students get to participate in clinical at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Did I mention that these are two of the best hospitals in the nation?
